We all know what it’s like when life happens. Finances, relationships, health, isolation – the list is endless. In these moments, connection is a lifeline.
Since 1993, we've supported families in these challenging moments by connecting them to trained volunteers in the form of befriending. At its core, befriending embodies the strength and complexity of friendship, enhanced by clear guidelines and mutual respect. It demands a long-term commitment from both parties, to break down walls, build trust and nurture growth – for good.
